What you'll learn and why it matters
The Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) is a legal requirement for professional drivers of HGVs (C, C+E) and passenger-carrying vehicles (D, D1). To keep your Driver Qualification Card (DQC) valid, you must complete 35 hours of approved periodic training every 5 years. Without a valid DQC you cannot legally drive commercially — even if your licence is intact. Our CPC is engaging, practical and relevant to modern road transport.
