- Is it worth travelling from Glasgow for HGV training?
- Many trainees do, mainly for the in-house Category 3a test and the one-to-one time. If you'd rather not commute daily, we can plan your block so travel is minimal.
- How much does HGV training cost in Glasgow compared to here?
- Our pricing is published in full on the prices page — Class 1 from £1,595, Class 2 from £1,395, C1 from £995 — with DVSA fees and medicals listed separately so nothing is hidden.
- Is the travel from Glasgow really worth it?
- For the in-house Category 3a test and genuine one-to-one seat time, most of our Glasgow trainees say yes. If daily commuting does not suit, we build the block so travel is minimised and can suggest local accommodation.
- Do you offer intensive Class 1 courses?
- Yes — intensive blocks are exactly how we handle trainees travelling further, including Glasgow, Aberdeen and Inverness. Everything, including the off-road test and Module 4 CPC, is completed in the one visit.
- What is included in the quoted price?
- Instruction and vehicle for the stated course length. DVSA test fees, the Group 2 medical and theory tests are itemised separately on the prices page — ask us for a total for your exact situation and we will give you one number.
- Can I add ADR or a forklift ticket?
- Those are separate qualifications from separate providers, and we will happily point you at reputable ones. Our own scope is LGV and PCV licence acquisition, Driver CPC, Category 3a and driver assessing.
