Preparing for test day in Fife
Most candidates who fail a lorry test do so on the same handful of things: gear and speed control on approach, mirror discipline on roundabouts, and losing composure in the reversing bay. Training from a Kirkcaldy base gives you an advantage on all three, because you practise on the A92, the Kirkcaldy town routes and the dual carriageway stretches that mirror what the examiner will ask for — and you rehearse the reversing exercise on the exact layout you are examined on.

- How long is the wait for an HGV test in Fife?
- Waiting times move with DVSA availability, but keeping the reversing test and Module 4 CPC in-house removes two of the three queues most candidates get stuck in. We book your on-road slot as early as your theory allows.

- Yes. We run assessment sessions and short refresher blocks for drivers who need another attempt, including drivers who trained with another school.
